  • Knows the book does not sell itself. Knows layout and studies the brochure
  • Knows every GOTTA HAVE IT and BEST BUY, if a favorite product is not featured in the brochure they now how to feature it to their client
  • Knows customer
  • Has a solid goal written down. Knows what their sales were last year same camp and what kind of increase they want and what they need to do to get it

A PASSIVE SELLER:

  • Order takers
  • Never suggest products to buy
  • Order takers hand out brochures (waits for the phone to ring)
  • Does not know best buy...because the "book in their mind sells itself"
  • Doesn't know their customer
  • No clue as to their goals and how selling allows them to attain them
